Tip
Where possible used crushed ice instead of ice cubes in your mojitos. Crushed ice will melt faster, which is a good thing in a drink with such strong flavours. The extra surface area of crushed ice also means a colder drink.
Ingredients
- 60ml Bacardi Rum
- 4 lime wedges
- 2 heaped teaspoons castor sugar
- 10-12 mint leaves
- Dash of soda water
Method
1. Muddle the limes and sugar in the serving glass.
2. Add the Bacardi Rum, mint and crushed ice and stir well.
3. Top with soda water and fresh ice to finish.
4. Garnish with a mint sprig.
